Brantley “Cowboy” W. Griffin passed away peacefully at his home in Mauk, Georgia, on April 14, 2018.
A Memorial Service will be held at Oakland Church of God on May 12, 2018 from 12:00 pm till 1:00 pm, immediate family members may arrive at 11:30 am. Oakland Church of God is located at the corner of Pineknot Road and GA Highway 41.
The son of the late Delphia Flanigan and Brantley Griffin was born January 1, 1952 in Columbus, Georgia. Mr. Griffin’s family remembers him lovingly as being a hard worker who would always lend a helping hand to those in need. He was an encourager who pushed those he loved to work hard and always try to be better. Brantley Griffin was a loving man who was a proud and loving father figure to many, not just his own. He will be missed dearly by all who were lucky enough to know him.
Brantley is survived by his wife and the love of his life Vickiejean Griffin; his children Evelyn, Brantley, Tracy, and Katie; and his many grandbabies.
