Bradley Larry Davenport, age 54, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was a proud Firefighter for many years with Columbus Consolidated Government. He was member of the Congregation of Jehovah's Witness at Phenix City and the Firefighter Columbus Association. He also earned an Associates degree in Fire Science.
Brad is survived by his loving wife of 32 years of marriage, Lisa Diane (Comer) Davenport; his loving parents, Larry George and Anna Faye (Sylvies) Davenport; his mother-in-law, Glenda Knight Comer; his aunts, Sandra Knight Wippler and Catherine Matheson Sola, wife of John Sola; his uncle, James Keith Davenport; his cousins, Eugene Sylvies, Jeffrey T. Miller, Cheryl Mortensen, and Nancy Sanders; and a host of many friends.
A visitation of family and friends of Bradley will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM in the St. Elmo room at Striffler-Hamby Funeral Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907. Graveside celebration of Bradley's life will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 11:00AM, Ben Mathews officiating at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907.
