Bobby Ray Bramlett

Bobby Ray Bramlett, 92, of Columbus, GA passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born September 20, 1932 in Aragon, GA, he was the son of the late Wiley Harlin and Lola Grace (Pue) Bramlett.

Bobby loved gardening, playing horseshoes, studying the Bible, teaching the word, cooking breakfast, telling jokes, wood working, and singing. He also enjoyed his time as a church deacon and working as a mechanic for many years at Recap Tires.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lucille (Sims) Bramlett; his son, Donnie Bramlett; his grandchildren, Summer Bramlett, Slayden Bramlett and companion, Raquel Gomez Farias, Taylor (Zach) Wilcher, Shanda (Larry) Cummings; and his great-grandchildren, Caleb Hickman, Austin Mizzell, Ashlyn Mizzell, Addison Bramlett, Kylie Wilcher, Madison Wilcher, Ethan Horne, Isabel Horne, Kruz Commings. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Torrence and his son, Mark Bramlett.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Edgewood Hall, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 2:00PM. Family will visit with friends at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, St. Elmo Room, Monday, November 20, 2023 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM. Burial will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.
