Bobbie Jean Garnett

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, July 2, 2016 in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby 4071 Macon Road Columbus, GA. Interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from5-7 pm, on Friday, July 1, 2016 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Garnett was born May 14, 1932 to the late Alex Vincent Finley and Lucile Finley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Benjamin B. Wyrick, and her second husband David Garnett, as well as four siblings. Mrs. Garnett retired from CB&T as Assistant Vice President, she started her career with CB&T as a bookkeeper and successfully worked her way to the position of Assistant Vice President.

Survivors include two sons: Richard Wyrick and his wife Debra, Mark Wyrick and his wife Mary, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to; The Alzheimer’s Association, or to Ladonia Baptist Church Building Fund, in memory of Bobbie Jean Garnett.
