Barbara A. Moore, 53, of Columbus, GA died at St. Francis Hospital Friday, February 05, 2010. A celebration of her life will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 13, 2010 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road Chapel with Reverend Bud Passmore officiating. The family will receive friends from one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Moore was born November 28, 1956 in Nancy, France, daughter of Lola Layman Ferguson and the late Edward H. Ferguson. She enjoyed serving and working with others, most recently as the Assistant Manager of Merry Mac’s Restaurant in Atlanta, GA. We will always remember her as a loving and happy go lucky person, who kept us all enjoying her presence and funny antics.Survivors other than her mother, Lola Ferguson of Columbus, GA include her daughter, Haley Meeks (Michael) of Salem, AL; two siblings, Gary Ferguson (Elizabeth) of Salem, AL and Diane Ferguson of Columbus, GA; granddaughter, Adrianna Meeks; special friend, Donnie Farmer of Columbus, GA; her cat, Mattie; several friends.
