Carol Faulkner, 84, of Columbus, GA, passed away under the watchful care of Brookdale Assisted Living. The family will welcome family and friends to a visitation, Wednesday November 30, 2022 at 11:00 am, one hour prior to the 12:00 pm Celebration of Carol’s life at Striffler-Hamby 4071 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA, with Reverend Doctor Kevin Calhoun officiating.
Carol was born in Columbus, GA, to her late parents Travis and Eldora Lindsey Davis. She attended Jordan Vocational High School where she met and married the love of her life. She was a Military wife and traveled all over the world with her Air Force husband until he retired. They lived in Texas, Kansas, France, Japan, and North Carolina. She dedicated her life to caring for her family and operated a Day Care out of her home. She was a big Country Music fan and loved Conway Twitty. She loved to watch Andy Griffith and if you had played some Shania Twain, she still might have cut a rug! One of her greatest pleasures was visiting her Florida beach house or going to Disney World.
Carol is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years Ray Faulkner; her parents; son, Jimmie Ray Faulkner, Jr.; sister, Peggy Taylor; brother Steve Davis; and granddaughter, Tiffany Stokes.
She is survived by her daughters; Debra Standridge, and Pam (David) Stokes; sister, Sue (Gene) DeBrabant; grandchildren, David (Nicole) Stokes, Nicole (Ben) Hunt, Chelsey (Larry) Carroll, and Brett Faulkner with fiancé Hailey Parker; great grandchildren, Parker Hunt, Coleman Hunt, Caroline Hunt, Lola Carroll, David Stokes, III, and Matthew Stokes.
