Barbara Jean Coppedge, age 82, of Columbus, died September 30, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital. Funeral Services will be held, Saturday, October 6, 2018, at 11:00 am in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus with burial to follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, October 5th from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Coppedge was born July 28, 1936 in Tallapoosa County, Al. daughter of Obie and Eva Thomas Reagan. She worked for several years at Hancock Fabrics in Columbus. She loved to cook, always making sure everyone had something to eat, working in her yard, gardening. She was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She is survived by her three sons, Keith Anthony, Ernest Anthony and his wife, Mary Jo, and Richard Anthony and Shannon. Her Grandchildren, Jason, Heath, Jewell, Skyla, Josh, Jo, Richard, William, Amanda, Chelsea, Sam, Summer, and Zane, and 26 Great Grandchildren, Step sons, Roger, Tony, and Tom, and her beloved pets, Max and Buddy.
