Ann Johnston, age 78, passed away on March 20, 2012. Funeral services will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd., Columbus on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
Mrs. Johnston was born on March 8, 1934 to the late Cora and Coley Singletary in Chipley, FL. She owned Carol's Florist for years and was a florist for 19 years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Johnston, a son Kenny Johnston and a brother Johnnie Frank Singletary.
She is survived by her sons Phillip and Terry Johnston, daughter-in-laws Kimberly and Gladys Johnston; grandchildren, Matthew Johnston, Whitney Johnston, Colby Johnston and Rebecca Cloud; her sister Katie Horn and a brother Robert Singletary. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
