Albert Eurple Faircloth, 84, passed away on January 19, 2021. He was a loving “PawPaw,” husband and father. He enjoyed opening his heart and home to many who were in need. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary on Sunday, January 24, 2021, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
He was born in Barbour County, Alabama, to Albert and Jewel Faircloth.
He was a devoted husband to Faye Nell for 57 years. He loved to be active whether it was out hunting, working in his garden, or repairing engines. He retired from Swift Mills after over 40 years of working as a machinist having never missed a day of work.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Nell, and his son, Kenneth Lamar German.
He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Anne German; grandsons, Jeff German (Beth) and Cory German (Jessie); and five great-grandchildren. Additionally, by his brothers, Talmadge Faircloth and James Faircloth; and sisters, Dorothy Brennan, Virginia Chadwick and Betty Perry. He is also survived by many loved ones whom he “adopted” along the way.
