Yvonne Isenhower Gardner

Mrs. Gardner died Saturday, March 31, 2018. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late James and Bonnie Kate Robinson Isenhower. Mrs. Gardner retired after working for Pinkerton Security, Hornsby Heating and Air, and the Springfield Flea Market. She had attention for detail in action and in speech. Mrs. Gardner loved her home and greenhouse on the Congaree River. Her passion was her family, reading, flowers, gardening, working in the yard, country music, fishing and finding a thrift store bargain. She loved her dog, “Lucy”.

Surviving are her husband, Joe Hornsby; children, Eddie Dowey, Barbara Gardner, Michael Gardner; step-daughter, Lyndia Hornsby; grandson, Chris Dowey; and sister, Laura Isenhower Thompson (Clyde). She was predeceased by her sister, Annette Isenhower Patton; and brother, Pete D. Isenhower.
