Mrs. Floyd died Thursday, March 31, 2022. Born in Florence, SC, she was a daughter of the late Cohen Harry Gibbs and Ida Mayo Hutchinson Gibbs. An avid golfer, she achieved six holes-in-one after the age of 40. Yvonne also loved to played bridge. She was a member of Northeast Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Cindy Garcia (Mark) of Blythewood; grandchildren, Rick Brown and Robyn Brown; special niece, Lynn Parrott (Billy); and numerous other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Loran Bethea Floyd, daughter, Donna Rachels and sister, Jane Purvis.
