William Butler

Mr. Butler died Thursday, February 3, 2022 surrounded by family. Born in Niagara Falls, New York, he was a son of the late John Butler and Monica Kelly Butler. He attended Niagara University and served in the U.S. Navy as a sonar technician during the Vietnam War. William worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield Palmetto GBA and retired after 20 years. He was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed playing guitar and spending time with his granddaughter.

Surviving are his son, Patrick Butler and daughter in law Michelle of North Augusta, SC; granddaughter, Elinor Butler; and three nieces, Sheila, Debbie and Lori.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Sandra Butler, brother, John Butler, and sister, Ellen Judd.
