Timothy Ray Morgan

COLUMBIA - Funeral service for Timothy Ray “Timmy” Morgan, 48, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 12, 2015, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Morgan died Sunday, September 27, 2015. Born in Columbia, he was the son of David Earl Morgan and Bonnie Lou Holt Morgan. He was an avid hunter using a bow and arrow; he was also in archery competitions. In addition to his parents, surviving are his sons, Matthew Wade Morgan of Bluefield, W.Va., Timothy Christopher Morgan of McDowell County, W.Va.; brothers, Billy Yeater of Pittsburgh, Pa., Frankie Morgan of Hampstead, N.C.; a niece, Alexis Nicole Morgan of Hampstead, N.C.; and a special cousin, Sherry Gregory of Smyrna, Tenn. He was predeceased by his biological mother, Margaret Leila Holt Plowden; and a sister, Melissa Ann Morgan.
