Thomas Earl Taylor Jr.

Mr. Taylor died Friday, January 31, 2025. Born on May 9, 1948 at Providence Hospital in Columbia, SC, he was the son of Thomas Earl Taylor, Sr. and Mitchell Irene Hardee Taylor. He was a graduate of W.P. Davison High School in Mobile, Alabama, and the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law and Secondary Education. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Thomas spent many years in retail management at Belk Department Stores and was a highly regarded Appliance Salesperson at Sears in Columbiana Centre. Thomas loved United States history and was an avid gardener.

Surviving are his wife, Susan Anne Sibert Taylor of Lexington, SC; son, Jason Earl Taylor; and sister, Irene Taylor Sheridan of Atlanta, GA.
