Steve Edward Anderson

Steve Anderson, a cherished brother and devoted son, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on May 19, 1965, in Florence, South Carolina, Steve spent his life in Timmonsville and Columbia, South Carolina, where his warm smile and kind heart touched many.

Steve dedicated much of his life to his beloved mother, Bonnie Suggs Anderson, who passed away on January 10, 2025. His steadfast love for her and honest heart defined their close bond, bringing comfort to her and inspiring those around them. Steve’s gentle spirit was a gift to all who knew him.

With a curious mind, Steve loved muscle cars as a teenager and young adult. He also enjoyed tinkering with his computer, exploring its possibilities with patience and joy. He was equally passionate about socializing, sharing stories, and brightening days with his friendly, welcoming nature. Whether chatting with neighbors or making a friend laugh, Steve had a knack for spreading happiness.

Steve is survived by his siblings, Mark Anthony Anderson (56), Victoria Hope Chudy (50), and David Michael Anderson (49), who will carry his memory with love. He was predeceased by his dear mother, Bonnie Suggs Anderson, his father, Thomas Edward Anderson, and his sister Sandra Anderson, who passed away as an infant.

Steve’s warmth, honesty, and joyful spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the light he shared with the world.
