Sarah Elizabeth Powers Pavlakovich, 61, passed away October 29, 2015. Sarah was born October 25, 1954 in Columbia, SC. She was a beautiful mother, wife and friend. She studied nursing at the university of SC and became a registered nurse for Palmetto Baptist Hospital for more than 30 years. She was known to her patients, friends and family as the most selfless, kind and giving woman. Everyone that knows her feels the love and warmth she would exude. She is predeceased by Willie Leon Powers, Jr. (Father), her mother Gloria Ott Powers, and her youngest son Daniel Joseph Pavlakovich. Surviving her are her loving husband Frank Pavlakovich of Columbia, sons Jason and Robyn Pavlakovich, daughter Amy Pavlakovich, Niece, Julia Lynn Padgett, Aunt Mary Ott, stepdaughters and friends Susie Pavlakovich and Kathy Wheeler, stepgrand daughter, Anna Wheeler. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. There will be a service, a celebration of life, held in the Boyce Chapel of First Baptist Church of Columbia, Hampton St, on November 5, 2015 at 11am.
