COLUMBIA - Sandra A. “Sandi” Gordon Bush, 73, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020. A Service of Witness to the Resurrection will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Forest Lake Presbyterian Church, 6500 N. Trenholm Rd., Columbia, SC 29206. The family will receive friends starting at 2:00 p.m. in the parlor.
Sandi was born December 22, 1946 in Roanoke, VA to the late Seth and Audrey Nelson Gordon. She worked at Conder Elementary School in Richland 2 from 1977 until 2010 as a teacher assistant. She was an Elder in the Peterson Presbyterian Church. While not able to get out much lately, she fulfilled her Christian mission by writing words of encouragement to others that were suffering in some way.
Survivors include her husband, Charles; two sons, Charles "Rob" R. Bush Jr. and Steven "Steve" M. Bush; two sisters, Patty Allen (Sam) of Charlotte, NC, and Barbara Bell of Austin, TX, along with nieces, a nephew, and a special cousin, Roxanne Foster (Creig) of Danville, CA.
Sandi asks that in lieu of flowers, you plant a tree or flowers in a park, a church, a school yard, or in your own yard.
