Robert Allen Patton Sr.

COLUMBIA - Funeral service for Robert Allen Patton, Sr., 78, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 20, 2015, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. Mr. Patton died Saturday, April 18, 2015. Born in Columbia, he was a son of the late Johnny Patton, Sr. and Mary Louise Hooper Patton. He graduated from Columbia High School, enjoyed hunting and fishing and co-owned Patton Painting Contractors for over 40 years. Mr. Patton was a lifelong Rosewood Baptist Church member and attended Lykesland Baptist Church for the last several years. Surviving are his son, Robert A. Patton, Jr. (Kimberly) of Columbia; grandchildren, Cole and Danielle Patton; brothers, David G. Patton of Columbia and Johnny Patton, Jr. of Lexington. He was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Annette Isenhower Patton and a son, Mark Allan Patton. Memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
