Mr. Lucas died Monday, December 9, 2024. Born in Staunton, Virginia, he was the son of the late Robert Howard Lucas, Sr. and Evelyn Marie Price Lucas. He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and Virginia Tech, Class of 1962, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree. Robert worked as a teacher and later became production manager for Home Lite. For over 15 years, he was the chaplain of Middleburg American Legion Post 250. He was a member of Middleburg United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his loving wife of 62 years, Patricia Lucas; his children, Angie DeBeaugrine (Joe), Tony Lucas (Helena), Tommy Lucas (Tina), and Tami Kalick (Howard); 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
