WEST COLUMBIA - A Memorial Mass for Robert William “Bob” Dalton, 72, will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in Celestial Memorial Gardens. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family. Mr. Dalton died Sunday, January 7, 2018. Born in Salinas, CA, he was a son of the late William Roy and Helen Besch Dalton. He served in the Navy during Vietnam. He was the owner of Dalcox Environmental Products. A former Vice President of Edisto Hunting Club, he loved hunting, fishing, and woodworking. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn F. Dalton of West Columbia; daughter, Tonya “Shellie” Bonnette (William) of Cayce; sons, David Dalton (Lisa) of Lexington, Jason Dalton and James Dalton (fiancée, Meghan Sox), both of West Columbia; 4 grandsons and 1 granddaughter; 2 brothers, Ken Dalton (Dena) of Columbia, and Mike Dalton (Betsy) of Goose Creek, SC; numerous nieces and nephews; and his special companion, Penny.
