Patricia Hill Roberts

Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m. Sunday August 28, 2022 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

A native of Columbia, Patricia was born August 24, 1939 to Jesse “Sid” and Grace B. Hill. She grew up in Gonzales Gardens where she treasured her lifelong friends and the memories that they made. Pat was a graduate of Columbia High School in 1957. Right after high school she began her career at Bank of America. She retired from the bank after working at various branches for over 40 years. She was a dedicated member of Rosewood Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and then was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Pat will be remembered for her great cooking especially her family Sunday dinners and her sweet tea. The highlight of her life was spending time with her family with a hug for everyone.

In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her brother, George “Gene” Hill. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 59 years, Cecil B. Roberts; three children, Pamela Fralick (Jerry), Dean Roberts, Sheila Roberts; four grandchildren who lovingly called her Nanny, Taylor and Tanna Fralick, Haley and Hanna Roberts.
