COLUMBIA - A memorial service for Nicholas Jeffrey Flowers, 24, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2020, at the funeral home.
Nicholas passed away Monday, August 24, 2020. Born in Fayetteville, NC on October 2, 1995, he was a son of Meleasa Y. Flowers.
He was a graduate of Thomas Dale High School in Chester, VA and attended John Tyler Community College. Nicholas enjoyed playing video games, fishing and traveling the world, living in Japan for two years, where he climbed Mt. Fuji.
Surviving in addition to his loving mother are his grandmother, Sandra Scott and Papa Scottie; grandfather, Freddie Flowers (Marcia "Nana"); aunt, Miriam Nikki Flowers; cousins, Daunte Eanes and Maya Bandy; the love of his life, Elly English; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
