Nancy C McConnell

COLUMBIA – Services for Nancy Carol McConnell, 77, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 29, 2018 at North Star Christian Center, 711 Longtown Rd. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. at Keowee Baptist Church Cemetery, Honea Path, SC. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.

Ms. McConnell passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018. Born in Honea Path, SC, she was a daughter of the late J.C. and Louise Campbell Richey. She worked in the Operations Center starting with SCN, then Wachovia, and lastly Wells Fargo, retiring after 30 years of service. She had a love for Jesus, people and her dogs. She was formerly a member of Keowee Baptist Church in Honea Path and presently a member of North Star Christian Center.

Surviving are her daughter, Cristie McConnell of Columbia; sister, Kathy Seawright (Jerry) of Donalds, SC; nieces and nephews, Janna Lee (Bill), Jonathan Richey (Amy), Justin Seawright (Ashlee) and Jessica Stewart (Jamey); and several great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, Joe Allen and Janice Richey; sister, Christine Richey; and nephew, Joe Richey.
