Nancy Faye Britt

A graveside service will be held 2:30 pm Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Crescent Hill Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be held from Noon until 2:00 pm on Saturday at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel.

A native of Hartsville, she was born February 17, 1943 to Bud and Lyndal Lee. Nancy was a talented hair stylist and cosmetologist and owned Sassy Scissors beauty shop for 40 years. She loved life and truly was the life of the party. Nancy knew how to make anyone feel special; she cherished her family and friends. She enjoyed beach trips with her sisters, Willie Nelson, cheering on the Gamecocks and gambling in Vegas with her dear friend, Marie. Most importantly, Nancy held fast to her relationship with Jesus and was known to witness to all walks of life. She was a member of Crescent Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her six sisters, a brother and her beloved daughter; Farris. Those left to cherish Fancy Nancy Disco Dumplin’s memory include her children, Jerry Britt, Angie Cooper (Randy), Darren Britt (Lisa), ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
