COLUMBIA – Funeral services for Mary “Deana” Tucker, 65, will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Irmo with interment to follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 19, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Deana was born January 30, 1949 in Greenwood, SC and passed away after a sudden illness on May 17, 2014 at MUSC. She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary Price Wilson. Deana graduated from Palmer College and retired as a loan officer from SC Student Loan Corporation. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Irmo where she was actively involved in her Sunday school class. Deana enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Deana is survived by her husband, James “Jim” Tucker; daughters; Kelly Tucker Padgett (Bryan) and Anna Tucker Pridgen (David), grandchildren; Kassidy, Abby, Paul and Ella, brother, Rev. Charles Wilson and extended family.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Irmo.
