Mary B Sites

IRMO – Funeral service for Mary B. Sites “Betty”, 84, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 3, 2011 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Irmo with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2011 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel. Memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1028 St. John’s Road, Irmo, SC 29063.

Mrs. Sites was born November 2, 1926 in Blythewood, SC and passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2011. She was a daughter of the late Alvin Lever Blair and Ada Sherrill Blair. Mrs. Sites was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Sites is survived by her daughter, Kathy Lindler (Glenn) of Irmo; son, John Watson Sites (Dianne) of Irmo; grandchildren, Angela, Joy, Amanda, Chastity, Clair, Brent and Kimberly; five great-grandchildren, Blair, Perrin, Jayden, Madeline and Mary Lide; sister, Marguerite Bouknight of Irmo and Shirley Daniels of Florence. She was predeceased by her husband, John P. Sites, daughter, Elaine Alewine; sister, Louise Branham and Maude Bouknight and brother, Robert Blair.
