Mary Geddings Dykes Davis

COLUMBIA - A graveside service for Mary Geddings Dykes Davis, 75, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 20, 2020 Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 1:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.

Mrs. Davis passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020. Born in Columbia on June 11, 1945, she was a daughter of the late James Joseph Geddings and Wilma Betts Geddings.

She was in the last graduating class of University High School and also graduated from the University of South Carolina. Mary retired from Heathwood Hall after many years and was a very active member of Greenlawn Baptist Church.

Surviving are her brother, Jeff Geddings; sister, Dorothy Meador (Joe); sister-in-law, Toni Geddings; nephew, Matt Geddings; and nieces, Katelyn Geddings, Kim Lentz and Stephanie Hanna.

In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her two husbands, Shannon Dykes and Robert Davis; and her brother, Jimmy Geddings.
