COLUMBIA – A memorial service for Martha “Sue” Griffin, 69, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel.
Mrs. Martha P. “Sue” Griffin was born April 9, 1944 in Tallahassee, FL to the late Quincy C. Posey, Jr. and the late Grace Virginia Moore Posey. Mrs. Griffin passed away at home on Saturday, June 22, 2013 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
She is survived by her husband of 32 ½ years of marriage, Danny A. Griffin; sisters, Sandra P. Clark, Sara P. Newton; daughter, Shelly M. Peyton; son, Quincy E. Perritt; granddaughter, Ashley Danielle Peyton; 6 other grandchildren; nieces, nephews and loving relatives and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
