COLUMBIA – Marianne Krebs Estock, 81, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. Born on July 29, 1939 in Butler, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Krebs and Marie Elizabeth Beck Krebs.
Ms. Estock retired as a mail clerk from SC Employment Security Commission. She had a contagious laugh and loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling, playing cards, socializing, and having dinner with friends, especially with her best friend, Barbara Hevia.
Ms. Estock is survived by her beloved son, Joseph “Joe” Estock (Rhonda) of Hopkins, SC; brothers, Richard Krebs (Gennie) of Zanesville, Ohio and Girard Krebs (Jeanne) of Ocala, FL; sister-in-law, Pauline Krebs of Hendersonville, TN.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Estock was predeceased by her husband, Joseph John Estock, and her brothers, Giles Krebs and Robert Krebs.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank the Heart of Hospice Foundation and Eula Phoenix for their special care and support.
A private Requiem Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the Church of Good Shepherd (Episcopal), Columbia. The family will greet friends in their cars as they drive by at 11:15 a.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.
The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to Heart of Hospice Foundation, 7 Technology Circle, Ste. 200, Cola, SC 29203.
