Leah Christine Fitzgerald

COLUMBIA – A Celebration of Life for Leah Christine “Princess” Fitzgerald, 30, will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Radiant Life Church, 1010 Old Two Notch Road, Pontiac. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 to 2:00. Dunbar Funeral Home Northeast Chapel is assisting the family. Leah passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 surrounded by her loved ones. Born June 8, 1984 in Fort Riley, KS, she was a daughter of Donna Fitzgerald. Leah was a gifted artist, loved music, dancing and singing. She enjoyed shopping for clothes, traveling and watching movies. She was a Christian and loved Jesus and God. She was a 2002 graduate of Ridgeview High School. In addition to her mother she is survived by her aunts and uncles; Patricia Meyer Grob (Dick) of Lake Ozark, MO; Richard Meyer (Clare) of Taylors, SC; numerous cousins and her fiancé, Zachary R. Johnson of Columbia. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Amanda Kay Fitzgerald. Special thanks to her devoted caregivers Lynn, Michelle, Karyn and Nicole. The nursing staff at Palmetto Health Richland (ER, CCU, MSU) are deeply appreciated for their loving and expert care.
