Kenneth G. Ferrucci

Visitation for Kenneth “Ken” G. Ferrucci will be held from 12PM - 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Dunbar Funeral Home, 4219 Hard Scrabble Road, Columbia SC 29223. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Living Springs Lutheran Church. Burial will be at 12 PM Monday, November 28, 2022 in Fort Jackson National Cemetery.

Ken was a 1964 graduate of Baldwin High School in Baldwin, (Long Island) NY. He served in the U.S. Army. He had a successful career as a mortgage broker for over 40 years. After relocating to S.C., he continued working and was a special needs bus monitor for Richland School District Two. He attended Living Springs Lutheran Church.

Ken was a family man. He was charismatic with a great sense of humor. He had a heart of gold. It gave him great pleasure to lift someone’s spirits and was a sought after mentor. A natural storyteller, he enjoyed entertaining, playing golf and football. He was a lifelong Minnesota Viking Fan. He enjoyed spending time with his beloved dog, Louie.

Surviving are his wife, Jeanne B. Kirchoff Ferrucci; daughter, Christie Thornton (Jeffrey); sons, Michael Ferrucci and Joey Ferrucci; sisters, Patricia Carman (Joseph) and Janet Reed; and one grandson, Hank Thornton. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Chuck Reed.
