So sorry to hear of John's passing, but at least he is pain free.  We went to school together, and just in the last several years reacquainted through Facebook!  He will be missed!❤️

John.  What a good guy.  He always had a smile and I enjoyed sharing wisecracks with him.  He was quick witted, funny, smart and always willing to help anyone when they needed it.  He never met a stranger and people were just drawn to him.  He was very talented and knew a lot of things about a lot of things.  He was one of the best cooks as well and certainly rivaled my talents in the kitchen and on the grill.  He’s left holes in many hearts and the lives of those he touched.  I’m glad you’re at peace and out of pain.  Until we meet again my friend.  Love you.

Oh how I am going to miss you my sweet cuz. I will always cherish all our fun days after school riding our motorcycles in the sandpit behind your house. And I’ll never forget the endless hours in the last several years that we spent talking to each other late at night because neither of us could sleep . Most of all the night we talked about God and afterwards you told me that you excepted Jesus as your Savior.

John was a wonderful man. He touched so many of our lives. I have many great memories of John. He surly was one of a kind, with a heart of gold.
 I will never forget the day he put the biggest smile 😊 on my son's face by giving him a watch. 
He told him he finally found the perfect young man to give it to.  Timothy still has that watch. 
I will never forget all the advice he gave Nikki and I as young adults, and all the compliments. Even on a bad day , John would make light of it. He loved everyone, and it showed.
John is going to be truly missed by several!! 😥💔🙏

My sweet John 🥺, he was like a grandfather to me. Ever since i met him he was always helpful gave me great advice was always there when I needed him. John was the type of person to have your back until the end. He’s been fighting this for the longest and it has hurt to watch him be in such pain for so long. Even through all of pain  he’s still done so much for me and others and always has made the best of life. He was one of the funniest people I knew was always cracking jokes and making the people he loved smile. To know John is to love him. I’m so sadden that he’s gone. John, was like a second father to me. I’ve known him for over 20 years. We had so many wonderful times together! John was one of the BEST cooks I’ve ever known; I was especially fond of his homemade pizzas.  He loved the band Atlanta Rhythm Section and we enjoyed listening to their music; up to his last days here on earth. He was a master electrician and helped friends anytime they needed him. He owned two guitars and enjoyed playing.  He loved planting a garden and working in the yard when he was able. He was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and Clemson Tigers.  John adored my mother, Sandra, as she did him. He was one of the strongest men I’ve ever known and fought for his life until the very end! I will miss you so much my sweetest Johnny, but know you are no longer suffering and are in a much better place.  I’ll be looking for you Blue Bird and will see you again some day. I love you so much and was blessed to have had you in my life! Forever and always, your Nuk Nuk(Nikki) 🥰😇❤️

Celebrating Christmas with family and friends.

Slumber party night was so much fun! We all wore pajamas, had a great meal, listened to music, danced and laughed! We had so many wonderful times; this was one of many.

Getting ready for the solar eclipse; what a cool thing to experience in our lifetime.

John was my life partner for over 20 years and so sorry John you lost your battle with cancer.. I would also like to thank Duane Cooper, Judy Martin, Hal Lominick, my beautiful daughter Nikki and her husband Randy and Randy Wilson for all their love and support during this sad time. Also a big thanks to the wonderful doctors and nurses who took care of John. I’m going to miss you more than you will ever know. Now go with God and I’ll see you again my sweet Johnny. I loved you so very much💔❤️🙏
