GILBERT – John William Bafford III, 32, of Gilbert died on July 29, 2019. He was born September 14, 1986. Johnny is survived by his parents, John and Susan Bafford; his sister, Deanne and brother-in-law, Matt, and the lights of his life - his nephew, Abraham and niece, Delaney. He also leaves his girlfriend and greatest love, Megan Carmichael of Lexington, as well as many close aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved friends.
Johnny Bill lived his life to the fullest each and every day - he was truly the life of the party! He was always willing and ready to help anyone he could with a contagious smile stretched from ear to ear. Johnny never met a stranger and always had time to sit down with you to talk and share a beer. He will be widely and deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 3:00 pm. The service will be held at Cherokee Presbyterian Church, 3622 Augusta Highway, Gilbert. Johnny's family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, his family asks that donations be made to Cherokee Presbyterian Church in memory of Johnny. The funds donated will be used to support the Backpack Program, which helps provide food items to children in need in the Gilbert school attendance area.
