Joe Otto Tischer

COLUMBIA - Joe O. Tischer, 50, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 27, 2015. Born in Wiesbaden, Germany, he was a son of Karin Rossler Blankenship and the late Otto Tischer. He was a graduate of Brookland-Cayce High School. Joe, affectionately called, “Joe Mama” by his friends and co-workers, was the Service Manager at Dick Dyer Mercedes and previously at Jim Hudson Lexus.

Surviving in addition to his mother, Karin of Columbia, are his brother, Brian Collier of Seattle, WA; sister Suzanne Tennant of Oak Harbor, WA and sister Bettina Blumer of Bakersfield, CA, uncle Donald Meetze of Columbia, SC and many more nieces, nephews, cousins!! He was preceded in death by aunt Chris Meetze and grandmother Margaret Rossler.
