Joan D’Eredita Gotch

COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Joan D’Eredita Gotch, 88, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Suber-Marshall Memorial United Methodist Church, with burial in Celestial Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Gotch died Wednesday, September 21, 2022. Born in Elkhart, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Henry Bartlett and Charlotte Haines Bartlett. A graduate of Columbia High School, she worked for SC Insurance Commission for 24 years. She was a life member of Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of Suber-Marshall Memorial UMC. Joan was an avid reader and loved to square dance.

Surviving are her three sons, Thomas S. D’Eredita (Judy), Richard D. D’Eredita (Terrie) and Randy A. D’Eredita; two daughters, Sandra J. Griffith (Joel) and Donna D. Tomasini; two others whom she opened her heart and home to, Danny Graham and Brenda Redmond Bryant; 14 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Bo Gotch, and her son-in-law, Dante Tomasini.
