Jason Lee Schultz

Born in Columbia, SC on April 17th, 1974, and growing up in the Rosewood area, he was more than one of a kind. As an amazing son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, he left a mark in the hearts of every person that had the pleasure to meet him.

Jason was predeceased by his father, Fred (Butch) Schultz.

Surviving is his mother, Patricia Schultz, sister Dawn Evans (husband Wayne Evans), nieces Christina and Amanda Evans, daughters Kara Jones and Krista Kelly (mother Tonya Jones) and granddaughter Jayden Jones. In addition to predeceased and surviving family, he was also predeceased by his beloved dogs, Buddy, Lacey, Little Bit, Clare, and Shelby, along with his beloved cat Whiskers. Each and every one of them were more than just animals to Jay, they were more like his additional children.

A memorial service for Jason will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 5th at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel.

We look forward to seeing Jay’s friends as we give him the send-off that he so rightfully deserves.
