James "Jay" Gordon Baker

Mr. Baker died Monday, May 24, 2021. Born in Rock Hill, SC, he was a son of Gordon Harrison Baker and Lynne Pack Baker. He graduated from Dreher High School in 2007 and was a member of the baseball team. Jay loved fishing and was a member of Shandon Baptist Church.

Surviving are his father and mother; brother, Marshall Baker of Columbia, SC; paternal grandmother, Betty Baker of Columbia, SC; maternal grandmother, Sara Ellen Pack of Williamston, SC; uncles, Buddy Baker (Mary) of Columbia, SC and Randy Pack (Cyndi) of Anderson, SC; aunts, Patricia B. Davis (Charlie) of Columbia, SC, Becky Baker of Boiling Springs, SC, and Beverly Christopher (Reg) of Awendaw, SC; paternal cousins, Beth B. Swearingen, Shelly B. Jeansonne, Martha Michael, Leah Michael, and Dylan Michael; maternal cousins, Will Christopher, Maggie Clements, Sara Cabe Christopher, Elle Christopher, Griffin Pack, and Kelsey Crowe.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Earl Baker, and maternal grandfather, Alvin Pack.
