Hoyt was an avid walker and loved to eat.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Jennings of Columbia, SC; son, Johnathan Jennings (Ty) of Irmo, SC; daughter, Peggie Hanson (John) of West Columbia, SC; four granddaughters, and two grandsons.
A memorial service will be held for Hoyt at 5:00 PM on Friday, September 22nd, 2023 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 501 Elmwood Avenue, Columbia, SC 29201.
