Helen grew up in Columbia, SC and was a manager for Tripp’s Fine Cleaners for many years. She enjoyed her job and meeting new people. She was an avid Gamecock fan and liked to bake and cook for any occasion. She loved reading, watching classic movies and listening to music. She was a devoted mother and loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean Cannon of Chapin, SC; son, Casimir Frank “Cas” Danielowski, Jr. (Karen) of Charleston, SC; daughter, Peggy Defonte (John) of Long Island, NY; grandchildren, Jeremy Cannon, Justin Cannon (Jennifer), Connor Danielowski (Katie), Kelly Danielowski, Daniella, Christina, and Christopher; and great-grandchildren, Jake, Jordan, Jack, Emmi, Riley, Stiles, Margot, John, Seth, Victor and Ryan.
In addition to her parents, Helen was predeceased by her daughters, Linda Bonet and Debra Marlowe.
A private family graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Elmwood Cemetery, 501 Elmwood Avenue, Columbia, SC 29201.
