George was a truck driver for most of his life. He enjoyed dirt track racing.
He is survived by his son, Dustin Johnson (Shannon); grandchildren, Cayson Johnson, Rylei Johnson, Madisyn Johnson, and Morgyn Johnson; as well as other extended family members.
He was predeceased by wife, Deborah Johnson.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 25, 2025 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229.
