COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Edward Jordan Hyder, 51, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Hyder passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020. Born in Augusta, Georgia on September 15, 1968, he was a son of Penelope Fletcher Hyder of Aiken and the late Monte Lee Hyder.
Edward was a graduate of Midlands Technical College and attended Columbia Original Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra; and brothers, Robert Hyder and John Hyder.
