Doris passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022. Born in Gilbert, SC, she was the daughter of the late Thelmos A. Sease and Elease K. Sease. She was avid walker who enjoyed crocheting and gardening. Doris was a founding member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda Waites Harwell; son, James A. Waites; grandchildren, Donna Peterson (David), Carrie Tinsley (Jon), Ross Goodin (Marilyn), Melissa Gunter, Rachel Gunter, Matthew Harwell (Britteny), and Grace Harwell; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Hampton A. Waites, Jr. and her daughter, Paula Waites Gunter.
