Columbia, South Carolina – Donna Hennies Richardson, 69, of Columbia, SC, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021. Donna was born in Columbia, SC, on December 18, 1951, the daughter of Robert and Virginia Hennies. She was a loving and devoted daughter, mother and grandmother.
She attended the University of South Carolina, majoring in Education, and received her Bachelors and Masters Degrees. She spent her career between teaching, training and sales. She was a devoted mother, an avid skier and loved to spend time at the beach. She also loved to read, cross stich and crochet, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Ms. Richardson is survived by her mother, Virginia C. Hennies, and her daughter and son, Danielle Sigman (Jim) of Virginia Beach, VA and Robert Richardson (Lauren) of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Robert Bowen Sigman and Madalyn Mae Richardson. She was predeceased by her father, Mr. Robert Sims Hennies.
There will be a private memorial service for family only.
