Daryl "D" Aubrey Jones

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday October 3, 2020 at Dunbar Funeral Home - Northeast Chapel. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm at the funeral home.

Daryl was born November 9, 1981 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to Thomas Jones and Carol Anderson. Daryl came into this world with a deep passion for animals and nature. Alongside his step-father, he grew up working in a plant nursery and learning about reptiles. Daryl was always surrounded with a loving family and a supportive, but "rowdy", group of friends. He will be remembered as a charming and charismatic “Ladies Man” that always knew how to make you laugh and feel extremely special. Daryl was a hardworking kind man who could fix anything and would help those who needed him. He enjoyed fishing, being on the water, or at the beach, race cars and the big booms from fireworks. Most importantly, he loved being a father, it was the greatest joy of his life. Becoming a father pushed him to turn his passion for reptiles into a successful business. He was fearless in his pursuit to set high goals and reach for them. Let the light of love that we had for Daryl, shine and forever burn inside of us. It is there that we will gain the strength to carry on without him.

He is predeceased by his father, Thomas John Jones. Those left to cherish his memory include, his mother; Carol Anderson, his children; Jaden Jones, Carmen Jones, Tanner Jones, their mother, Meagan, his sister; Heather Franklin (Jamie), a brother; Steven Hehn and numerous nieces and nephews.
