Connie Spehl Furtick

Connie Spehl Furtick,75, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, she was the only daughter and the second child of the late Charles Edward Spehl, Jr. and Eleanor Foulk Spehl.

Connie had many hobbies and interests ranging from collecting beanie babies and teddy bears to frequently visiting the beaches in the Charleston area with her mother.

She is survived by her daughters, Sheri Wood (Curtis) and DeAna Furtick, along with her brother, Charles Spehl. She is also survived by her adored grandsons, Austin Tyler Furtick, Ryan Christopher Wood, and Charles Lucas Furtick, as well as two nephews and four great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Furman Furtick, former sister-in-law and good friend, Charlotte Minick, and, most recently, her beloved Yorkie and constant companion, Olivia.

A visitation will be held by her family on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from two until four o'clock at Dunbar Funeral Home, 3926 Devine Street, Columbia, South Carolina 29205.
