A native of Columbia, SC, Raymond was born to Annara nee Davis Turner and Clyde R. Turner, Sr. on July 28, 1955.
Raymond was a good husband, friend, and musician. His friends said that he was hard-headed and would do anything for anybody if asked. He was proud of his pest control business, his music, and being Santa Claus to many children over the last eight years. He was devoted to music of all genres and his favorite time of year was Christmas when he could become “the real” Santa.
He was a devoted husband and friend to many. He was also known for his love of southern food – especially grits which he claimed was in his bottle as a baby instead of milk.
In addition to his parents, he is pre-deceased by a brother; Christopher Lorne Turner, paternal grandparents; Clarence and Cassie Turner, maternal grandparents; James M. and Mildred Davis and a nephew Robert Player.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Mary Anne nee Boulogne, two sisters; Anita Turner (Bobby), Angela Lorne Turner, a nephew; Justin (Christina) Ciriello, two great nephews; Nicolas and Dante. He also was proud of his Delaware family including his brother-in-law; Al Boulogne (Kathy) and their children. Raymond’s beloved animal friends include his dog, Oreo and cat, Callie.
