Christopher Michael Lambert

GASTON Funeral service for Christopher Michael “Mike” Lambert, 45, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Dunbar Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel, is assisting the family. Mr. Lambert died Friday, July 31, 2015. Born in Richmond, Va., he was a son of Dolores Jones Lambert and the late Alfred Lee Lambert. He was employed with Old Dominion Trucking Company and was a member of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church. Affectionately known as “Hillbilly” to his trucking buddies, he enjoyed four wheeling and driving jeeps with his son. Surviving are his wife, Stephanie Meador Lambert of Gaston; his mother of Gaston; son, Shawn Michael Lambert (Aly, fiancée) of Gaston; two granddaughters, Emma Grace and Adalynn Rose Lambert; stepdaughter, Katy Partin of Gaston; stepgrandson, Jacob Huffham of Gaston; sister, Kristi Lambert of Lexington; brother, Scott Lambert (Christina) of Richmond; two nieces, Leslie and Marissa Lambert.
