Christine Ann Harth Wash

COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Christine Ann Harth Wash, 66, will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Fort Jackson National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Ms. Wash died Monday, December 20, 2021. Born in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late John Joseph Harth and Anna Bertha VonUchtrup Harth. She retired from the U.S. Navy after 21 years of service as an E6 Aviation First Class. Her hobbies include building Star Wars Legos, wolf puzzles, and bowling.

Surviving are her daughter, Paula M. Haley and her husband, James Robert Haley, Jr. of Easley, SC; granddaughter, Tiffany Arabella Lee of Columbia, SC; Paula’s dad, Teddy Lee Wash of Dumas, Texas; brothers, William A. “Billy” Harth (Mildred) of Seneca, SC, John F. Harth (Judi) of Lawrenceville, GA, and Michael R. Harth (Missie) of Chapin, SC; and sisters, Gwendolyn M. McGee (Charlie) of Gaston, SC, Gail S. Dabbs (Dale) of Walhalla, SC, and Lauri A. Cooley of West Columbia, SC; and several nieces and nephews.
