Mrs. Caroline C Hogan

HOPKINS - A funeral service for Caroline Caughman Hogan, 90, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Lebanon United Methodist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Hogan passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Countrywood Nursing Center in Hopkins, SC. Born in Lykesland, she was a daughter of the late Henry Fred Caughman and Mae Sloan Caughman. She was a graduate of Winthrop College and member of Lebanon United Methodist Church. Surviving are her daughter, Sue Tysinger (Roger) of Eastover; sons, Scott Hogan (Doris) of Hopkins and Fred Hogan (Pat) of West Columbia; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Gilbert S. Hogan; sister, Mary Sue Rawlinson; and two brothers, Henry Fred Caughman and Denley Charles Caughman. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lebanon United Methodist Church, Church Building Fund, 10220 Garners Ferry Road, Eastover, SC 29044.
