Born on November 8, 1933 in Keavy, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Omer and Gladys Anders.
A member of the Church of Christ, June worked for ten years at Walmart as a customer service associate. She was a loving, generous mother and first-rate cook whose humor and folksy wisdom will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, William Brittain; children, Barbara Brittain Hanson (Glenn) of Surfside Beach, Billy Brittain of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Joe Brittain of Atlanta, Georgia; three grandchildren; brothers, Raleigh Anders (Helen) of Keavy, Kentucky and James Anders (Pam) of Santa Fe, New Mexico; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. Burial will be private.
